As a result, I recommend that you refrain from any contact with liquids and chemicals (lotions, perfume, hairspray, pool water, etc.). Oftentimes, the duration of how long your plated jewelry components will last is dependent on your body chemistry, how often you wear it and your activities while wearing the jewelry. I recommend to store all jewelry in an air-tight container or plastic bag unexposed to sunlight and also gently wipe the jewelry with a dry cloth after wearing.
