Description

This cowrie shell necklace was braided with brown waxed cotton cording. I used shiny/polished off white cowrie shells. This necklace has an adjustable tie that is accented with a picture jasper gemstone bead at each end of the tie. (Picture Jasper is said to hold the properties of wisdom, balance and harmony.) The total length of this necklace is 36 1/2 inches long. The braided section of this necklace is 12 1/2 inches long and cannot be tied any tighter than 12 1/2 inches.
