THE STORY:

Thoughtfully crafted from gold dipped sterling silver, The Root of Desire coin features a profile of Aphrodite – a name synonymous with the ideals of feminine grace and beauty. Cast from an ancient Greek coin and reworked with wax, this amulet is an ode to the Greek goddess of love which by poetical notions is the personification of the mother of all living things. Living with the belief that love and unity creates more meaning in life, Pamela designed this piece to be worn everyday as a keepsake of love and passion.

Handmade in Vancouver from 24K gold vermeil (which is 3 microns thick of 24K gold plated over sterling silver).
