Description

This is my original design of a tiny, sweet violet flower. I am fascinated by violets; their deep jewel-like intense colors, delicate petals, lush heart-shaped leaves, and spindly stems. A big patch of violets comes up in our backyard every spring and when they bloom, my older daughter picks a handful for me to put in my small glass vase on the windowsill by the kitchen sink. They are the brightest color in the room! This is one of my smallest pendants; it measures 5/8″ across, smaller than a dime.

This petite pendant is made of polymer clay, which is light, durable, and waterproof. I form it by hand, cure it, then sand for smoothness with high grit paper. I transfer my design, hand paint, and add a touch of sparkle, then coat with clear varnish. I complete the necklace with a 14kt gold filled jump ring and chain. The chain is 18 inches long. This necklace may also be ordered with a sterling silver jump ring and chain. The pendant is stamped with my maker’s symbol on the back.
